# Art.26 MiFIR Transaction reporting

Financial institutions are [obliged to report all transactions](https://www.esma.europa.eu/publications-and-data/interactive-single-rulebook/mifir/article-26-obligation-report-transactions) that they carry out on behalf of third parties to the national supervisory authority.

In order to comply with [MiFIR Art. 26](https://www.bafin.de/EN/DieBaFin/Service/MVPportal/26MiFIR/26MiFIR_artikel_en.html), Upvest collects and stores all order execution data for each day on which our client is active.
